My Approach
I have experience working with adults, young adults, adolescents, families, and groups consisting of individuals that might be struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, codependence, abuse, trauma, life transitions, grief and loss, communication, and mental illness of all kinds.
My approach is eclectic and holistic including Systems theory, Strengths-based theory, and Humanistic theory.
I offer a variety of treatment modalities including Client-centered therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Motivational Interviewing and more depending on your needs.
I am flexible and will check in with you regularly regarding what does or does not work for you.
Each of us is situated within various systems and cultures (family, job, neighborhood, school, church, etc.) that influence who have become and how we view the world around us. My mission is to understand your viewpoint as we partner to help you feel better.
At your own pace, I will help you gain insight, improve resilience, and stay focused on your goals. I encourage healthy coping skills and self-care to improve your ability to function. I advocate for setting healthy boundaries, building self-awareness, and finding balance in your life so you feel empowered to not only survive but to thrive!
